Supercharged big-block power and Pro Street competition-level style intersect in this custom Silverado show and

race truck. A Cadillac crest front end treatment bridges the gap between the early 21st century and slab-sided

1990 C/K pickup design. House of Kolor paint brings it all together in Persimmon shine. Pro Street performance

and showmanship meet top-trim Silverado appointments in the cabin. The silver interior is a step above the 1990

Scottsdale package with contoured, cloth seating, two-tone door trim panels and color-keyed carpet. A styled

steering wheel, brace of Auto Meter Pro Comp gauges inside and out, and a gated shifter add competition

potential to air conditioning and power windows and locks.

A standard C/K pickup hood could not contain the mountainous, supercharged, 468 CI big-block Chevrolet V-8

engine squeezed between the front fenders and topped with an 871 Dyers blower. The big-block is backed up by

a 4L80E automatic transmission built to handle up to 1,000 HP, as well as a Ford 9-inch housing, Eaton Tru-

Trac with 4:10 gears and Moser axles that put the twist to the tarmac. Chrome suspension components add flash

to the Chris Alston chassis from the front drop spindles and disc brakes to the adjustable 4-link rear suspension.

The custom show truck rolls on Forgeline wheels and an extreme big and little combination with massive

Mickey Thompson rear tires tubbed into the bed for maximum hookup and relatively skinny fronts to guide the

way.
